Hockaday Student Raises Over $5,000 for Mi Escuelita Twelve year old Hockaday student Megan Silver had a unique idea for her Bat Mitzvah – instead of gifts for herself, she turned her special occasion into a fund raiser for Mi Escuelita Preschools.

June 19, 2008 Mi Escuelita Society Holds 3rd Happy Hour at Trader Vic's Ken Hamilton and Adam Akbany hosted a happy hour fundraiser for Mi Escuelita at Trader Vic’s Lounge.  The crowd of young professionals had a fun time highlighted by a boatful of Mai Tais and delicious munchies.
