Volunteering
There are many ways to volunteer your time to support the Mi Escuelita program, both in working with the children and behind the scenes service. What happens in these classrooms is the first step toward a brighter future for both our children and our community, and we'd like you to be a part of that. It's as simple as reading a book, playing on a playground or putting together homework activities. Join us! You can apply online or download a printable application to return to our Volunteer Coordinator, Caroline Smiley, via email (csmiley(at)miescuelita(dot)org) or fax (214-528-0966) today.
We have a very flexible schedule and invite you to do as much as you are willing or able: our volunteers give everything from thirty minutes a semester to four hours a week, and we need and appreciate all of them. Below are links to different ways people are volunteering now that you can explore. These opportunities are open at all six of our locations. We are also always open to ideas for new ways to impact our organization and the lives of these children!
