Since 1978, Mi Escuelita has been a mainstay for young students whose first language is not English. Our recent surge in enrollment went from 74% capacity to 93%. That means that we went from 7 students for every 10classroom seats to 9 students. This demand demonstrates the need of our students and families for quality early education programs. To meet this need we opened our first toddler classroom at the Carolyn Strickland Early Childhood Center in Garland, Texas, last August. Now we can serve even more families and children as young as 18 months.
