Casa View families will begin the new school year at our Carolyn Strickland Early Childhood Center. The Strickland campus is larger and can accommodate our growth for many years. The Strickland campus is conveniently located in downtown Garland in the First United Methodist Church Garland. We are excited to be a new member of this warm and welcoming community!

Casa View was our East Dallas home for many years. The students, families, teachers, and staff made Casa View a special place. We are proud of our students who graduated Mi Escuelita Preschool and moved on to be successful kindergarteners in the Casa View neighborhood schools. The growing demand for quality early childhood education was more than we could accommodate at our Casa View campus. At Strickland we will have more space for classrooms and playgrounds, including additional private classrooms.

Additionally to better serve our students and families in West Dallas, our Frank Diaz campus will open its first toddler classroom. The Frank Diaz center educates young students from 2 ½ to 5 years old in 3 classrooms. Our West Dallas families have asked for a toddler program, and we are excited to open this special classroom in August.

Mi Escuelita has evolved and grown over the past 48 years to meet the educational needs of our youngest students. From the first classroom at El Divino Salvador Presbyterian Church, to our three campuses across Dallas County, our priority has been, and will always be, preparing our students for success in the classroom and beyond.
